Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, in particular the Catering Terms and Conditions and Allergens Disclaimer, as they govern all services provided by Fan Thai Sticks.
These Terms and Conditions apply to you as a consumer and to us as a supplier and are intended to be legally binding.
1. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time, including for legal or regulatory reasons, by amending this page. Please check this page periodically, as any changes are binding upon you.
You are responsible for ensuring that anyone who accesses our website using your internet connection is aware of and complies with these Terms and Conditions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.

Consumers may bring legal proceedings in the English courts.

Consumers living in Scotland may bring proceedings in either Scottish or English courts.

If you are not a consumer, the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
2. Terms Relating to Use of the Fan Thai Sticks Website
2.1 The Website
In these terms, “website” refers to the software, content, and services owned and operated by Fan Thai Sticks, accessible via web and compatible mobile devices, including all updates and documentation.
2.2 Acceptance of Website Terms
By accessing, using, or registering on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.
2.3 Right to Use
We grant you a non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the website for personal purposes only. The website is provided free of charge.
2.4 Updates and Availability
We reserve the right to update, amend, or withdraw the website at any time. We are not responsible for any loss caused by failure to use the most recent version of the website.
2.5 Device and Network Responsibility
You are responsible for obtaining permission to use any device not owned by you and for any charges imposed by your mobile or internet provider.
2.6 Geographic Availability
The website is intended for use in the UK. Availability may be limited outside the UK or when roaming.
3. Product and Catering Terms
3.1 Scope
These terms apply to all catering, food truck hire, buffet services, and related products supplied by Fan Thai Sticks.
All bookings are considered an offer by the customer and are subject to acceptance by Fan Thai Sticks.
3.2 Food Safety & Quality Assurance
In accordance with UK Food Hygiene Regulations:

Cold food must be consumed within 4 hours of delivery

Hot food must be consumed within 2 hours
Food left unsupervised by the client is not covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
3.3 Product Information
Images displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Products may vary slightly. All products are subject to availability.
3.4 Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in our products, branding, and materials remain the property of Fan Thai Sticks.
4. Prices, Payments, and Charges
4.1 VAT
Unless stated otherwise, all prices are exclusive of VAT.
4.2 Payments

Last-minute bookings: full payment upfront

Advance bookings (minimum 2 months): 20% non-refundable deposit
4.3 Minimum Spend & Additional Charges

Buffet catering (local): minimum £750
-
Food truck hire (UK): minimum £1,000, excluding call-out, labour, plates, and cutlery
Additional services:

Waste disposal: £50 per event

Generator hire: £50 (2 hours, max 2750W)
Cash payments may be required where card terminals cannot operate due to network limitations.
4.4 Non-Refundable Items
Deposits, call-out charges, labour, waste disposal, and generator hire are non-refundable.
4.5 Right to Cancel
We may cancel a booking if payment fails, required information is not provided, or collection is unreasonably delayed. Any payments made will be refunded where applicable.
4.6 Complaints
All complaints must be submitted within 24 hours via email to:

Complaints made directly on social media without prior contact may be considered damaging to the business.
4.7 Written vs Verbal Communication
In case of discrepancies, written communication shall prevail.
4.8 Late Payments
Overdue invoices will incur 8% interest above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.
5. Catering-Specific Terms
5.1 Additional Catering
Meals for suppliers (photographers, bands, staff, etc.) must be pre-booked and paid in advance.
Guest numbers cannot be reduced once confirmed.
5.2 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including weather, traffic, natural disasters, or government action. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
5.3 Final Details & Short Notice Bookings
All final details must be confirmed 4 weeks prior to the event.
Bookings under 4 weeks require full upfront payment.
5.4 Quotes, Tastings & Partner Platforms

Quotes valid for 24 hours only

Tastings are paid and deducted from final invoice

Bookings via partner platforms must follow their terms
5.5 Communication
We aim to respond within 48 hours. Last-minute bookings require immediate payment.
5.6 Service Duration
Standard hire duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
Additional time: £120 per hour (2 staff)
5.7 Behaviour & Alcohol
We operate a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behaviour.
We do not serve alcohol.
5.8 Venue Access
Access must be on-road only. Off-road, uneven terrain, wet grass, or fields may result in refusal of service for safety reasons.
6. Allergens & Dietary Disclaimer
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements if notified in advance.
However, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
All products may contain traces of the 14 regulated allergens due to shared storage, transport, and preparation facilities.
Fan Thai Sticks accepts no liability for allergic reactions.
7. Food Service Times

Lunch: 12:00 – 15:00

Late night service: available on request, subject to additional charges
Post-service breakdown may take up to 1 hour. Long-distance events may incur overnight accommodation costs.
