Our kitchen is in Chelmsford, so east and north east London are on our doorstep and the rest of the capital is a planned morning's drive.

London events come with their own logistics: loading bays, building access windows, the Ultra Low Emission Zone that now covers every London borough and the Congestion Charge in the centre. We plan for all of it, and any charges are included in your quote rather than added later.

Travel to London is included in every quote

Do venues in London need a kitchen?

No. We bring our own cooking equipment, certified gas and serving stations, or cook from our food van, so barns, marquees, gardens, fields and halls without kitchens are all fine. We just need a reasonably flat spot close to where guests will eat.

How far ahead should I book for an event in London?

Summer Saturdays and December dates book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.

Can you cater for vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy needs?

Yes. Every menu includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes at no extra cost, halal chicken is available on request and every dish is labelled for the 14 major allergens. Mild versions are available for children.

What is included in the price?

Cooking fresh on site, serving, eco-friendly bamboo plates, cutlery and napkins, set-up, clear-down and travel. Standard service runs for two hours, and extra time can be added.

Do ULEZ or Congestion Charge costs get added for London?

No surprises: any ULEZ, Congestion Charge or parking costs are included in your quote from the start.

Do you cater in London?

Yes. London is about 37 miles from our kitchen in Chelmsford and we cater weddings, parties, office events and food van bookings there, with travel included in the quote.
