Planning Thai street food van hire in Tiptree
Three in four homes in Tiptree (78%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Our food van needs a level pitch about the size of two parking bays, which many driveways and side gardens here can offer.
Tiptree is a settled, close-knit community where many families have lived for years. With guests of all ages, we keep a mild option on every station and make sure there is seating near the food.
Food van access in Tiptree
Our horse-box food van needs a level pitch about the size of two parking bays and a clear route in. It is fully self-contained with its own gas and equipment, so power and water on site are a bonus rather than a must.
Around Tiptree, that could be a garden, a driveway, a farm field, a school field or an event site.
The drive from our kitchen is about 17 miles via the A12 and A120, roughly 40 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Colchester and Colchester Town stations link to London Liverpool Street and the Sunshine Coast line.

Questions
Thai Food Truck Hire in Tiptree: FAQs
Travel to Tiptree is included in every quote
Colchester and Colchester Town stations link to London Liverpool Street and the Sunshine Coast line
Can guests pay for their own food?
Our main service is pre-paid by the host per guest, which suits weddings and private events. For fêtes and public events, send us the expected numbers and we will discuss options.
How much does food van hire in Tiptree cost?
Pre-paid food van service starts from £14 per guest, with a minimum spend of £1,000. Travel from Chelmsford to Tiptree is included in your quote.
How much space does the food van need in Tiptree?
We need a reasonably flat spot about the size of two parking bays that the van can reach, on hardstanding or firm grass, with room for a queue. Send us a photo or a map pin and we will confirm it works.
Do you need power or water?
We are largely self-sufficient and cook on our own certified gas. We talk through power and water with you or the venue when we plan the event.
Do venues in Tiptree need a kitchen?
No. Venues without a kitchen are our everyday work in Tiptree, from coastal and riverside venues to village halls. We set up our own cooking stations close to where guests eat and leave the space as we found it.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Tiptree?
Summer Saturdays and December dates in Tiptree book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.
