Thai catering in Chigwell
Planning a wedding, a party or a work event in Chigwell? We cook authentic Thai street food on site, for 20 guests or 450, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes on every menu and no need for a venue kitchen.
Chigwell is one of the most affluent parts of Essex, on the Central line's Hainault loop. Large homes and gardens mean we often run live cooking stations on private driveways and patios here.
The Epping Forest district takes its name from the ancient forest that runs from the London border to Epping, and most of its towns sit on the Central line.

Hosting in Chigwell, made easy
Chigwell has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. In bigger houses we can serve indoors in the kitchen or conservatory and cook outside, keeping cooking smells out of the house.
Around 27% of homes in Chigwell are flats, so many hosts here book a local hall, a pub function room or a communal space, and we come to them. We can cook on site at the venue or set up a hot buffet, whichever suits the space.
Any venue in Chigwell, indoors or out
Around Chigwell we cook at forest-side pubs, London-edge offices, large private homes and gardens and country estates. The Epping Forest district is also home to Gaynes Park near Epping, Blake Hall near Ongar, Epping Forest and Waltham Abbey Church and the Royal Gunpowder Mills.
The drive from our kitchen is about 23 miles via the M11, M25 and A414, roughly 50 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: the Central line serves Epping, Theydon Bois, Loughton, Debden, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell.

Questions
Thai catering in Chigwell: FAQs
Travel to Chigwell is included in every quote
the Central line serves Epping, Theydon Bois, Loughton, Debden, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell
Do you cater in Chigwell?
Yes. Chigwell is about 23 miles from our kitchen in Chelmsford and we cater weddings, parties, office events and food van bookings there, with travel included in the quote.
How much does Thai catering cost in Chigwell?
Packages start from £14 per guest for mains in eco-friendly boxes, £17 for a main and two spring rolls from hot food stations and £24 for full food stations with two staff. The quote for Chigwell includes travel and shows the full price per guest. There is a minimum spend of £750, or £1,000 for the food truck.
Do venues in Chigwell need a kitchen?
No. We bring our own cooking equipment, certified gas and serving stations, or cook from our food van, so barns, marquees, gardens, fields and halls without kitchens are all fine. We just need a reasonably flat spot close to where guests will eat.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Chigwell?
Summer Saturdays and December dates book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.
Can you cater for vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy needs?
Yes. Every menu includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes at no extra cost, halal chicken is available on request and every dish is labelled for the 14 major allergens. Mild versions are available for children.
What is included in the price?
Cooking fresh on site, serving, eco-friendly bamboo plates, cutlery and napkins, set-up, clear-down and travel. Standard service runs for two hours, and extra time can be added.
Google reviews
What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“I booked Mihai and Nok for my mum's 60th birthday… they adapted their starters into canapés style plates for our casual dining event. Everyone was raving about the food and we didn't have any guests going hungry!”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
