Hosting in North Weald Bassett, made easy
The nearest station, Harlow Mill, is about 5 miles away, so most guests arrive by car. Rural venues need a caterer who brings everything, and we arrive with our own gas, water containers and lighting.
North Weald Bassett has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. Larger homes mean bigger guest lists at home, so we often run two stations: one for mains and one for satay and starters.

the Central line serves Epping, Theydon Bois, Loughton, Debden, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell
How much does Thai catering cost in North Weald Bassett?
Packages start from £14 per guest for mains in eco-friendly boxes, £17 for a main and two spring rolls from hot food stations and £24 for full food stations with two staff. The quote for North Weald Bassett includes travel and shows the full price per guest. There is a minimum spend of £750, or £1,000 for the food truck.
Do venues in North Weald Bassett need a kitchen?
No. We bring our own cooking equipment, certified gas and serving stations, or cook from our food van, so barns, marquees, gardens, fields and halls without kitchens are all fine. We just need a reasonably flat spot close to where guests will eat.
How far ahead should I book for an event in North Weald Bassett?
Summer Saturdays and December dates book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.
Can you cater for vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy needs?
Yes. Every menu includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes at no extra cost, halal chicken is available on request and every dish is labelled for the 14 major allergens. Mild versions are available for children.
What is included in the price?
Cooking fresh on site, serving, eco-friendly bamboo plates, cutlery and napkins, set-up, clear-down and travel. Standard service runs for two hours, and extra time can be added.
Do you cater in North Weald Bassett?
Yes. North Weald Bassett is about 16 miles from our kitchen in Chelmsford and we cater weddings, parties, office events and food van bookings there, with travel included in the quote.

What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“I booked Mihai and Nok for my mum's 60th birthday… they adapted their starters into canapés style plates for our casual dining event. Everyone was raving about the food and we didn't have any guests going hungry!”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
