Planning your event in Wickford
Wickford is a large place with about 14,723 households. A town this size has every kind of venue, from function rooms and sports clubs to offices and community centres, and we have the capacity for big guest lists.
Wickford station is under a mile from the centre of Wickford. Guests can arrive by train, which keeps parking simple and lets everyone enjoy a drink.
About two thirds homes in Wickford (73%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. That suits our street food set-up: a gazebo and cooking station on the lawn or patio, with guests helping themselves from the food station.

Questions
Thai catering in Wickford: FAQs
Travel to Wickford is included in every quote
c2c serves Basildon, Laindon and Pitsea, and Greater Anglia serves Billericay and Wickford
Do venues in Wickford need a kitchen?
No. We bring our own cooking equipment, certified gas and serving stations, or cook from our food van, so barns, marquees, gardens, fields and halls without kitchens are all fine. We just need a reasonably flat spot close to where guests will eat.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Wickford?
Summer Saturdays and December dates book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.
Can you cater for vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy needs?
Yes. Every menu includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes at no extra cost, halal chicken is available on request and every dish is labelled for the 14 major allergens. Mild versions are available for children.
What is included in the price?
Cooking fresh on site, serving, eco-friendly bamboo plates, cutlery and napkins, set-up, clear-down and travel. Standard service runs for two hours, and extra time can be added.
Can guests get to an event in Wickford by train?
Yes, Wickford station is close to the centre of Wickford, so guests can travel by train and we can time the food around their arrival.
Do you cater in Wickford?
Yes. Wickford is about 11 miles from our kitchen in Chelmsford and we cater weddings, parties, office events and food van bookings there, with travel included in the quote.
Google reviews
What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“I booked Mihai and Nok for my mum's 60th birthday… they adapted their starters into canapés style plates for our casual dining event. Everyone was raving about the food and we didn't have any guests going hungry!”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
