Thai Catering in Wimbish

Planning your event in Wimbish

Wimbish has plenty of character, with 28% of its homes built before 1919. Historic buildings often limit what can be cooked indoors, so we cook outside under our gazebo and serve inside.

Wimbish has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. In bigger houses we can serve indoors in the kitchen or conservatory and cook outside, keeping cooking smells out of the house.

Three in four homes in Wimbish (82%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. That suits our street food set-up: a gazebo and cooking station on the lawn or patio, with guests helping themselves from the food station.

Any venue in Wimbish, indoors or out

Around Wimbish we cook at village halls, airport hotels and offices, country estates and barn and tithe barn venues. Uttlesford is also home to Audley End House and Gardens, Saffron Walden's market and turf maze, Thaxted Guildhall and Great Dunmow, home of the Flitch Trials.

The drive from our kitchen is about 25 miles via the M11, A120 and B184, roughly 55 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Audley End, Newport and Stansted Mountfitchet are on the line to London Liverpool Street and Cambridge.
