Party Catering in Coggeshall
Anniversaries, engagements, christenings and family get-togethers in Coggeshall are some of our favourite events, because a relaxed party is exactly where Thai street food belongs.
Coggeshall is an old wool town with the National Trust's Paycocke's House and Coggeshall Grange Barn, one of the oldest timber-framed barns in Europe. It is a beautiful setting for a wedding or anniversary.
North of the A120 the Braintree district rolls into the Colne Valley and the Hedinghams, some of the prettiest countryside in the county.

Planning Thai party catering in Coggeshall
Coggeshall has plenty of character, with 23% of its homes built before 1919. Historic buildings often limit what can be cooked indoors, so we cook outside under our gazebo and serve inside.
About two thirds homes in Coggeshall (67%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Gardens here suit a garden party with a cooking station on the patio and food served straight from the wok.
Party venues in and around Coggeshall
Parties in and around Coggeshall usually happen at pub gardens, business parks and barn venues, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
Indoors we serve a hot buffet in chafing dishes; outdoors we cook live at a gazebo station, which is half the entertainment.
The drive from our kitchen is about 17 miles via the A120, A12 and A131, roughly 40 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Witham and Kelvedon are on the main line, with a branch line to Braintree.

A good start is Royal Massaman Curry, Mango Sticky Rice and Sukhumvit Pad Thai with Gai Satay and Thai prawn crackers, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.

Questions
Party Catering in Coggeshall: FAQs
Travel to Coggeshall is included in every quote
Witham and Kelvedon are on the main line, with a branch line to Braintree
Can you cater a party at my home in Coggeshall?
Yes. Homes and gardens are ideal for our cooking stations. We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for our cooking station, or we can cook nearby and serve a buffet indoors.
What is the minimum number of guests?
There is a minimum spend of £750, which is about 30 guests on our food station package. For smaller gatherings, a private chef dinner for 6 to 12 guests may suit better.
Do you provide food for children?
Yes. Pad thai, chicken satay, spring rolls and mango sticky rice go down well with children, and we keep mild versions with chilli on the side.
How much does party catering in Coggeshall cost?
Party catering starts from £14 per guest. Travel to Coggeshall is included in your quote, which shows the full price per guest.
Do venues in Coggeshall need a kitchen?
No. Venues without a kitchen are our everyday work in Coggeshall, from village greens and halls to pub gardens. We set up our own cooking stations close to where guests eat and leave the space as we found it.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Coggeshall?
Summer Saturdays and December dates in Coggeshall book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.
