Planning Christmas party catering in Harwich
Harwich has plenty of character, with 44% of its homes built before 1919. Historic buildings often limit what can be cooked indoors, so we cook outside under our gazebo and serve inside.
Around 36% of homes in Harwich are flats, so many hosts here book a local hall, a pub function room or a communal space, and we come to them. We can cook on site at the venue or set up a hot buffet, whichever suits the space.
Harwich Town station is under a mile from the centre of Harwich. Guests can arrive by train, which keeps parking simple and lets everyone enjoy a drink.
Party venues in and around Harwich
Parties in and around Harwich usually happen at village halls, country houses and port and town halls, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
Indoors we serve a hot buffet in chafing dishes; outdoors we cook live at a gazebo station, which is half the entertainment.
December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Harwich are best booked in October or November.
The drive from our kitchen is about 48 miles via the A120 and A133, roughly an hour and a half, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: the Sunshine Coast line serves Clacton and Walton, and the Mayflower line serves Manningtree and Harwich.
Your menu, your way
Our whole menu is available for Christmas party catering in Harwich. A good start is spring rolls, Thai roti flatbread and Royal Massaman Curry with Isaan Thai Green Curry and Gai Satay, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.
