What to know about Thai wedding catering in Quendon
Quendon has plenty of character, with 37% of its homes built before 1919. Historic churches and halls make lovely ceremony settings here, with the reception moving to a barn, garden or marquee where we can cook freely.
Quendon has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. Some couples here marry at home in a garden marquee, which gives us room for a full wedding breakfast station and an evening food stall.
Three in four homes in Quendon (86%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Plenty of couples here hold the wedding reception in a family garden or paddock with a marquee, and we cook alongside it with our own kit.
Where couples in Quendon hold their reception
Wedding settings across Uttlesford include Great Dunmow, home of the Flitch Trials, Quendon Park and Leez Priory near Felsted, and the venues around Quendon are mostly airport hotels and offices, country estates and barn and tithe barn venues.
Whatever the venue, we cook on site, so the food is served minutes from the wok, and we can run a separate evening food station once the dancing starts.
The drive from our kitchen is about 24 miles via the M11, A120 and B184, roughly 50 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Audley End, Newport and Stansted Mountfitchet are on the line to London Liverpool Street and Cambridge.

Can you serve an evening food station as well as the wedding breakfast?
Yes. We can do both, or just the evening: a Pad Thai or curry station at 9pm works well once the dancing starts.
Do you cater weddings at venues in Quendon without a kitchen?
Yes. Barns, marquees and gardens with no kitchen at all are exactly what our set-up is for. We bring our own cooking equipment, gas and serving stations, so we only need a flat area near where guests will eat.
How much does Thai wedding catering cost for a wedding in Quendon?
Wedding mains start from £20 per guest, with starters from £5.99 and canapés from £2 a piece. Travel from our Chelmsford kitchen to Quendon (24 miles) is included in your quote, and every quote shows the full price per guest.
Can we have a tasting before booking?
Yes, tastings are available for couples. They are paid, and the cost comes off your final invoice when you book. We can also plan the menu with you on a call first.

What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
“Mihai and Nok came to our wedding reception and served fully vegan food as we wanted: pad Thai, massaman curry, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Everyone at the party absolutely loved it!”
