What to know about Christmas party catering in Rettendon
Rettendon has grown a lot in recent years, with 68% of its homes built since 2000. New-build gardens are often compact, so a buffet indoors with food cooked on our station outside works best.
Rettendon has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. Larger homes mean bigger guest lists at home, so two stations work well: one for mains and one for satay and starters.
Three in four homes in Rettendon (87%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Gardens here suit a garden party with a cooking station on the patio and food served straight from the wok.
Hosting a party in Rettendon
Parties in and around Rettendon usually happen at country house venues, farm barns and marquees on private land, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for the cooking station, or we cook nearby and bring the food in hot.
December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Rettendon are best booked in October or November.
The drive from our kitchen is about 8 miles via the A12, A130 and A414, roughly 20 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Chelmsford station is on the Great Eastern Main Line, with direct trains to London Liverpool Street.
