What to know about Thai party catering in Colchester
Colchester is a large place with about 30,659 households. A town this size has every kind of venue, from function rooms and sports clubs to offices and community centres, and we have the capacity for big guest lists.
Around 31% of homes in Colchester are flats, so many hosts here book a local hall, a pub function room or a communal space, and we come to them. For flats without outdoor space we serve a hot buffet in chafing dishes, cooked fresh and delivered ready to eat.
Colchester has grown a lot in recent years, with 32% of its homes built since 2000. New-build gardens are often compact, so a buffet indoors with food cooked on our station outside works best.
Hosting a party in Colchester
Parties in and around Colchester usually happen at converted barns, coastal and riverside venues and university and conference spaces, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for the cooking station, or we cook nearby and bring the food in hot.
The drive from our kitchen is about 27 miles via the A12 and A120, roughly 55 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Colchester and Colchester Town stations link to London Liverpool Street and the Sunshine Coast line.
Build your Thai party catering menu
Our whole menu is available for Thai party catering in Colchester. A good start is Gai Satay, Thai prawn crackers and spring rolls with Royal Massaman Curry and Mango Sticky Rice, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.

How much does party catering in Colchester cost?
Party catering starts from £14 per guest. Travel to Colchester is included in your quote, which shows the full price per guest.
Can you cater a party at my home in Colchester?
Yes. Homes and gardens are ideal for our cooking stations. We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for our cooking station, or we can cook nearby and serve a buffet indoors.
What is the minimum number of guests?
There is a minimum spend of £750, which is about 30 guests on our food station package. For smaller gatherings, a private chef dinner for 6 to 12 guests may suit better.
Do you provide food for children?
Yes. Pad thai, chicken satay, spring rolls and mango sticky rice go down well with children, and we keep mild versions with chilli on the side.
Do venues in Colchester need a kitchen?
No. Venues without a kitchen are our everyday work in Colchester, from converted barns to university and conference spaces. We set up our own cooking stations close to where guests eat and leave the space as we found it.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Colchester?
For a summer wedding or a Christmas party in Colchester, months rather than weeks. Office lunches and smaller parties can often be arranged within a fortnight. A 20% deposit confirms your booking.
