Planning Christmas party catering in Colchester
Colchester is a large place with about 30,659 households. A town this size has every kind of venue, from function rooms and sports clubs to offices and community centres, and we have the capacity for big guest lists.
Around 31% of homes in Colchester are flats, so many hosts here book a local hall, a pub function room or a communal space, and we come to them. We can cook on site at the venue or set up a hot buffet, whichever suits the space.
Colchester has grown a lot in recent years, with 32% of its homes built since 2000. Newer estates mean lots of young families, so children's birthdays, christenings and housewarmings suit the area.
Party venues in and around Colchester
Parties in and around Colchester usually happen at coastal and riverside venues, university and conference spaces and village halls, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
Indoors we serve a hot buffet in chafing dishes; outdoors we cook live at a gazebo station, which is half the entertainment.
December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Colchester are best booked in October or November.
The drive from our kitchen is about 27 miles via the A12 and A120, roughly 55 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Colchester and Colchester Town stations link to London Liverpool Street and the Sunshine Coast line.
Your menu, your way

A good start is Royal Massaman Curry, Isaan Thai Green Curry and Gai Satay with spring rolls and Thai roti flatbread, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.
