What to know about Thai party catering in Finchingfield
The nearest station, Braintree, is about 8 miles away, so most guests arrive by car. Rural venues need a caterer who brings everything, and we arrive with our own gas, water containers and lighting.
Finchingfield has plenty of character, with 34% of its homes built before 1919. Older places usually have a church hall, a village hall or a historic pub that makes a characterful venue, and we check the rules on cooking and power in advance.
Three in four homes in Finchingfield (83%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Gardens here suit a garden party with a cooking station on the patio and food served straight from the wok.
Hosting a party in Finchingfield
Parties in and around Finchingfield usually happen at business parks, barn venues and castle and country house venues, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for the cooking station, or we cook nearby and bring the food in hot.
The drive from our kitchen is about 21 miles via the A120, A12 and A131, roughly 45 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Witham and Kelvedon are on the main line, with a branch line to Braintree.

How much does party catering in Finchingfield cost?
Party catering starts from £14 per guest. Travel to Finchingfield is included in your quote, which shows the full price per guest.
Can you cater a party at my home in Finchingfield?
Yes. Homes and gardens are ideal for our cooking stations. We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for our cooking station, or we can cook nearby and serve a buffet indoors.
What is the minimum number of guests?
There is a minimum spend of £750, which is about 30 guests on our food station package. For smaller gatherings, a private chef dinner for 6 to 12 guests may suit better.
Do you provide food for children?
Yes. Pad thai, chicken satay, spring rolls and mango sticky rice go down well with children, and we keep mild versions with chilli on the side.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Finchingfield?
For a summer wedding or a Christmas party in Finchingfield, months rather than weeks. Office lunches and smaller parties can often be arranged within a fortnight. A 20% deposit confirms your booking.
Can you cater for special diets in Finchingfield?
Of course. Thai food suits mixed diets well: tofu versions of our curries and noodles are vegan, many dishes are naturally gluten-free, halal chicken is available, and allergens are labelled on every dish we serve in Finchingfield.
