Christmas Party Catering in Halstead
Office Christmas parties and family festive get-togethers in Halstead are a big part of our December, and Thai food is a welcome change from the standard festive menu.
Halstead is a market town in the Colne Valley with Gosfield Hall and its lake just to the west, and plenty of rural venues around the Hedinghams.
The Braintree district takes in Braintree and Witham, the old wool town of Coggeshall and a long list of villages such as Finchingfield and the Bardfields.

Planning Christmas party catering in Halstead
The nearest station, Chappel and Wakes Colne, is about 6 miles away, so most guests arrive by car. With most guests driving, it helps to plan parking and leave a clear route for our van to reach the cooking area.
Halstead has plenty of character, with 19% of its homes built before 1919. Historic buildings often limit what can be cooked indoors, so we cook outside under our gazebo and serve inside.
Party venues in and around Halstead
Parties in and around Halstead usually happen at barn venues, castle and country house venues and village greens and halls, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
Indoors we serve a hot buffet in chafing dishes; outdoors we cook live at a gazebo station, which is half the entertainment.
December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Halstead are best booked in October or November.
The drive from our kitchen is about 20 miles via the A120, A12 and A131, roughly 45 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Witham and Kelvedon are on the main line, with a branch line to Braintree.
Your menu, your way

A good start is Isaan Thai Green Curry, Gai Satay and spring rolls with Thai roti flatbread and Royal Massaman Curry, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.
