Planning Christmas party catering in Great Leighs
Great Leighs has grown a lot in recent years, with 46% of its homes built since 2000. Newer estates mean lots of young families, so children's birthdays, christenings and housewarmings suit the area.
Great Leighs has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. In bigger houses we can serve indoors in the kitchen or conservatory and cook outside, keeping cooking smells out of the house.
About two thirds homes in Great Leighs (69%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Gardens here suit a garden party with a cooking station on the patio and food served straight from the wok.
Party venues in and around Great Leighs
Parties in and around Great Leighs usually happen at farm barns, marquees on private land and city-centre offices, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
Indoors we serve a hot buffet in chafing dishes; outdoors we cook live at a gazebo station, which is half the entertainment.
December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Great Leighs are best booked in October or November.
The drive from our kitchen is about 9 miles via the A12, A130 and A414, roughly 25 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Chelmsford station is on the Great Eastern Main Line, with direct trains to London Liverpool Street.
