What to know about Thai wedding catering in Kelvedon
Kelvedon station is about a mile from the centre of Kelvedon. Good rail links make it easy for guests travelling from London, so evening food timings can follow the last trains.
About two thirds homes in Kelvedon (74%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Plenty of couples here hold the wedding reception in a family garden or paddock with a marquee, and we cook alongside it with our own kit.
Kelvedon has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. Some couples here marry at home in a garden marquee, which gives us room for a full wedding breakfast station and an evening food stall.
Where couples in Kelvedon hold their reception
Wedding settings across the Braintree district include Paycocke's House and Coggeshall Grange Barn, Finchingfield's green and windmill and Braintree Village shopping outlet, and the venues around Kelvedon are mostly farmland marquees, pub gardens and business parks.
Whatever the venue, we cook on site, so the food is served minutes from the wok, and we can run a separate evening food station once the dancing starts.
The drive from our kitchen is about 15 miles via the A120, A12 and A131, roughly 35 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Witham and Kelvedon are on the main line, with a branch line to Braintree.

We cater weddings from around 30 guests up to 450. For larger numbers we add more cooking stations and staff so the queue keeps moving.
Can you serve an evening food station as well as the wedding breakfast?
Yes. We can do both, or just the evening: a Pad Thai or curry station at 9pm works well once the dancing starts.
Do you cater weddings at venues in Kelvedon without a kitchen?
Yes. Barns, marquees and gardens with no kitchen at all are exactly what our set-up is for. We bring our own cooking equipment, gas and serving stations, so we only need a flat area near where guests will eat.

What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
“Mihai and Nok came to our wedding reception and served fully vegan food as we wanted: pad Thai, massaman curry, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Everyone at the party absolutely loved it!”
