Nearly two in five homes in Witham (38%) are terraced houses. Street parties and garden gatherings work well here with a compact set-up and a buffet table rather than a full food van.
Witham station is under a mile from the centre of Witham. Good rail links make it easy for guests travelling from London, so evening food timings can follow the last trains.
Witham is a large place with about 12,030 households. A town this size has every kind of venue, from function rooms and sports clubs to offices and community centres, and we have the capacity for big guest lists.
Where couples in Witham hold their reception
Wedding settings across the Braintree district include Gosfield Hall, Great Notley Country Park and Paycocke's House and Coggeshall Grange Barn, and the venues around Witham are mostly farmland marquees, pub gardens and business parks.
Whatever the venue, we cook on site, so the food is served minutes from the wok, and we can run a separate evening food station once the dancing starts.
The drive from our kitchen is about 11 miles via the A120, A12 and A131, roughly 25 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Witham and Kelvedon are on the main line, with a branch line to Braintree.

Do you cater weddings at venues in Witham without a kitchen?
Yes. Barns, marquees and gardens with no kitchen at all are exactly what our set-up is for. We bring our own cooking equipment, gas and serving stations, so we only need a flat area near where guests will eat.
How much does Thai wedding catering cost for a wedding in Witham?
Wedding mains start from £20 per guest, with starters from £5.99 and canapés from £2 a piece. Travel from our Chelmsford kitchen to Witham (11 miles) is included in your quote, and every quote shows the full price per guest.
Can we have a tasting before booking?
Yes, tastings are available for couples. They are paid, and the cost comes off your final invoice when you book. We can also plan the menu with you on a call first.
How many wedding guests can you serve in Witham?
We cater weddings from around 30 guests up to 450. For larger numbers we add more cooking stations and staff so the queue keeps moving.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Witham?
For a summer wedding or a Christmas party in Witham, months rather than weeks. Office lunches and smaller parties can often be arranged within a fortnight. A 20% deposit confirms your booking.
Can you cater for special diets in Witham?
Of course. Thai food suits mixed diets well: tofu versions of our curries and noodles are vegan, many dishes are naturally gluten-free, halal chicken is available, and allergens are labelled on every dish we serve in Witham.

What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
“Mihai and Nok came to our wedding reception and served fully vegan food as we wanted: pad Thai, massaman curry, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Everyone at the party absolutely loved it!”
