Planning Thai street food van hire in Stanmore
Stanmore is a family neighbourhood of houses with gardens, schools and parks. Children's birthdays, christenings and garden parties are what families here book most, with mild dishes for younger guests.
Stanmore has one of the most diverse communities in London, with big family celebrations all year round. Mixed guest lists mean dietary needs vary, so we label every dish and can keep vegetarian, halal-friendly and vegan options apart.
Food van access in Stanmore
Our horse-box food van needs a level pitch about the size of two parking bays and a clear route in. It is fully self-contained with its own gas and equipment, so power and water on site are a bonus rather than a must.
Around Stanmore, that could be a garden, a driveway, a farm field, a school field or an event site.
The drive from our kitchen is about 42 miles via the A40 and A404, roughly 80 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. Stanmore is inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, which our vehicles are planned for, and any charge is built into your quote. For guests coming by train: the Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines.
Your menu, your way

A good start is Gai Satay, Veg Gun Peacemaker stir fry and spring rolls with Sukhumvit Pad Thai and Isaan Thai Green Curry, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.

Questions
Thai Food Truck Hire in Stanmore: FAQs
Travel to Stanmore is included in every quote
the Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines
How much space does the food van need in Stanmore?
We need a reasonably flat spot about the size of two parking bays that the van can reach, on hardstanding or firm grass, with room for a queue. Send us a photo or a map pin and we will confirm it works.
Do you need power or water?
We are largely self-sufficient and cook on our own certified gas. We talk through power and water with you or the venue when we plan the event.
Can guests pay for their own food?
Our main service is pre-paid by the host per guest, which suits weddings and private events. For fêtes and public events, send us the expected numbers and we will discuss options.
How much does food van hire in Stanmore cost?
Pre-paid food van service starts from £14 per guest, with a minimum spend of £1,000. Travel from Chelmsford to Stanmore is included in your quote.
How much does Thai catering cost in Stanmore?
Packages start from £14 per guest for mains in eco-friendly boxes, £17 for a main and two spring rolls from hot food stations and £24 for full food stations with two staff. The quote for Stanmore includes travel and shows the full price per guest. There is a minimum spend of £750, or £1,000 for the food truck.
Do venues in Stanmore need a kitchen?
Not at all. Whether it is community halls or sports clubs in Stanmore, we arrive with cooking stations, gas and serving kit and cook on site, so the venue's own kitchen does not matter.
