Planning Thai street food van hire in Twickenham
Twickenham is close to the Thames, with riverside venues, terraces and clubs. Riverside venues often have limited vehicle access, so we confirm loading points and carry-in distances before the day.
Twickenham has some of London's grandest homes, garden squares and private clubs. Elegant receptions and dinner parties are typical here, with passed canapés or a private chef serving at the table.
Twickenham is a family neighbourhood of houses with gardens, schools and parks. Children's birthdays, christenings and garden parties are what families here book most, with mild dishes for younger guests.
Food van access in Twickenham
Our horse-box food van needs a level pitch about the size of two parking bays and a clear route in. It is fully self-contained with its own gas and equipment, so power and water on site are a bonus rather than a must.
Around Twickenham, that could be a garden, a driveway, a farm field, a school field or an event site.
The drive from our kitchen is about 50 miles via the A316 and A3, roughly an hour and a half, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. Twickenham is inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, which our vehicles are planned for, and any charge is built into your quote. For guests coming by train: Richmond, Twickenham and the District line.

Thai Food Truck Hire in Twickenham: FAQs
Travel to Twickenham is included in every quote
Richmond, Twickenham and the District line
How much space does the food van need in Twickenham?
We need a reasonably flat spot about the size of two parking bays that the van can reach, on hardstanding or firm grass, with room for a queue. Send us a photo or a map pin and we will confirm it works.
Do you need power or water?
We are largely self-sufficient and cook on our own certified gas. We talk through power and water with you or the venue when we plan the event.
Can guests pay for their own food?
Our main service is pre-paid by the host per guest, which suits weddings and private events. For fêtes and public events, send us the expected numbers and we will discuss options.
How much does food van hire in Twickenham cost?
Pre-paid food van service starts from £14 per guest, with a minimum spend of £1,000. Travel from Chelmsford to Twickenham is included in your quote.
How much does Thai catering cost in Twickenham?
Packages start from £14 per guest for mains in eco-friendly boxes, £17 for a main and two spring rolls from hot food stations and £24 for full food stations with two staff. The quote for Twickenham includes travel and shows the full price per guest. There is a minimum spend of £750, or £1,000 for the food truck.
Do venues in Twickenham need a kitchen?
Not at all. Whether it is riverside homes and gardens or rowing and sports clubs in Twickenham, we arrive with cooking stations, gas and serving kit and cook on site, so the venue's own kitchen does not matter.
