Christmas Party Catering in Abberton

What to know about Christmas party catering in Abberton

Abberton has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. Larger homes mean bigger guest lists at home, so two stations work well: one for mains and one for satay and starters.

Three in four homes in Abberton (88%) are detached or semi-detached, so most hosts have a garden or driveway to work with. Gardens here suit a garden party with a cooking station on the patio and food served straight from the wok.

Abberton has plenty of character, with 22% of its homes built before 1919. Older places usually have a church hall, a village hall or a historic pub that makes a characterful venue, and we check the rules on cooking and power in advance.

Hosting a party in Abberton

Parties in and around Abberton usually happen at converted barns, coastal and riverside venues and university and conference spaces, and we adapt the set-up to the space.

We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for the cooking station, or we cook nearby and bring the food in hot.

December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Abberton are best booked in October or November.

The drive from our kitchen is about 25 miles via the A12 and A120, roughly 55 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Colchester and Colchester Town stations link to London Liverpool Street and the Sunshine Coast line.
