What to know about Christmas party catering in Felsted
Felsted has grown a lot in recent years, with 56% of its homes built since 2000. New-build gardens are often compact, so a buffet indoors with food cooked on our station outside works best.
Felsted has plenty of larger family homes, with room for a bigger guest list at home. Larger homes mean bigger guest lists at home, so two stations work well: one for mains and one for satay and starters.
The nearest station, Braintree, is about 5 miles away, so most guests arrive by car. Rural venues need a caterer who brings everything, and we arrive with our own gas, water containers and lighting.
Hosting a party in Felsted
Parties in and around Felsted usually happen at village halls, airport hotels and offices and country estates, and we adapt the set-up to the space.
We need a flat space about the size of a parking bay for the cooking station, or we cook nearby and bring the food in hot.
December is our busiest month, so Christmas parties in Felsted are best booked in October or November.
The drive from our kitchen is about 11 miles via the M11, A120 and B184, roughly 25 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. For guests coming by train: Audley End, Newport and Stansted Mountfitchet are on the line to London Liverpool Street and Cambridge.
Build your Christmas party catering menu
Our whole menu is available for Christmas party catering in Felsted. A good start is spring rolls, Thai roti flatbread and Royal Massaman Curry with Isaan Thai Green Curry and Gai Satay, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.
