Planning Thai street food van hire in Putney
Putney is a family neighbourhood of houses with gardens, schools and parks. Children's birthdays, christenings and garden parties are what families here book most, with mild dishes for younger guests.
Putney is close to the Thames, with riverside venues, terraces and clubs. Riverside venues often have limited vehicle access, so we confirm loading points and carry-in distances before the day.
Food van access in Putney
Our horse-box food van needs a level pitch about the size of two parking bays and a clear route in. It is fully self-contained with its own gas and equipment, so power and water on site are a bonus rather than a must.
Around Putney, that could be a garden, a driveway, a farm field, a school field or an event site.
The drive from our kitchen is about 43 miles via the A3 and the South Circular, roughly 80 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. Putney is inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, which our vehicles are planned for, and any charge is built into your quote. For guests coming by train: Clapham Junction, the Northern line and the Northern line extension to Battersea.
Your menu, your way
Our whole menu is available for Thai street food van hire in Putney. A good start is spring rolls, Sukhumvit Pad Thai and Isaan Thai Green Curry with Gai Satay and Veg Gun Peacemaker stir fry, but every menu is built around your guests, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes and clear allergen labels on everything.

Questions
Thai Food Truck Hire in Putney: FAQs
Travel to Putney is included in every quote
Clapham Junction, the Northern line and the Northern line extension to Battersea
Can guests pay for their own food?
Our main service is pre-paid by the host per guest, which suits weddings and private events. For fêtes and public events, send us the expected numbers and we will discuss options.
How much does food van hire in Putney cost?
Pre-paid food van service starts from £14 per guest, with a minimum spend of £1,000. Travel from Chelmsford to Putney is included in your quote.
How much space does the food van need in Putney?
We need a reasonably flat spot about the size of two parking bays that the van can reach, on hardstanding or firm grass, with room for a queue. Send us a photo or a map pin and we will confirm it works.
Do you need power or water?
We are largely self-sufficient and cook on our own certified gas. We talk through power and water with you or the venue when we plan the event.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Putney?
Summer Saturdays and December dates in Putney book up months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. For weekday lunches and smaller parties, a couple of weeks is often enough. A 20% deposit secures the date.
Can you cater for vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy needs?
Yes. Every menu we bring to Putney includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes at no extra cost, halal chicken is available on request and every dish is labelled for the 14 major allergens. Mild versions are available for children.
