What to know about Thai street food van hire in Royal Docks
Royal Docks has one of the most diverse communities in London, with big family celebrations all year round. Large guest lists are normal here, so we plan extra cooking stations and staff to keep service quick.
Royal Docks is a busy working district, full of offices and workplaces. Office buildings here usually need a delivery slot, security sign-in and a goods lift, which we arrange with your facilities team in advance.
Where our food van can park in Royal Docks
Our horse-box food van needs a level pitch about the size of two parking bays and a clear route in. It is fully self-contained with its own gas and equipment, so power and water on site are a bonus rather than a must.
Around Royal Docks, that could be a garden, a driveway, a farm field, a school field or an event site.
The drive from our kitchen is about 30 miles via the A13 and A12, roughly 60 minutes, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. Royal Docks is inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, which our vehicles are planned for, and any charge is built into your quote. For guests coming by train: Stratford, the Elizabeth line, the Jubilee line and the DLR.

Questions
Thai Food Truck Hire in Royal Docks: FAQs
Travel to Royal Docks is included in every quote
Stratford, the Elizabeth line, the Jubilee line and the DLR
How much does food van hire in Royal Docks cost?
Pre-paid food van service starts from £14 per guest, with a minimum spend of £1,000. Travel from Chelmsford to Royal Docks is included in your quote.
How much space does the food van need in Royal Docks?
We need a reasonably flat spot about the size of two parking bays that the van can reach, on hardstanding or firm grass, with room for a queue. Send us a photo or a map pin and we will confirm it works.
Do you need power or water?
We are largely self-sufficient and cook on our own certified gas. We talk through power and water with you or the venue when we plan the event.
Can guests pay for their own food?
Our main service is pre-paid by the host per guest, which suits weddings and private events. For fêtes and public events, send us the expected numbers and we will discuss options.
Do venues in Royal Docks need a kitchen?
Not at all. Whether it is community halls or exhibition and conference halls in Royal Docks, we arrive with cooking stations, gas and serving kit and cook on site, so the venue's own kitchen does not matter.
How far ahead should I book for an event in Royal Docks?
For a summer wedding or a Christmas party in Royal Docks, months rather than weeks. Office lunches and smaller parties can often be arranged within a fortnight. A 20% deposit confirms your booking.
