What to know about Thai wedding catering in Surbiton
Surbiton is a family neighbourhood of houses with gardens, schools and parks. Children's birthdays, christenings and garden parties are what families here book most, with mild dishes for younger guests.
Surbiton is close to the Thames, with riverside venues, terraces and clubs. Riverside venues often have limited vehicle access, so we confirm loading points and carry-in distances before the day.
Where couples in Surbiton hold their reception
Wedding settings across the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames include Kingston riverside, New Malden High Street and Kingston University, and the venues around Surbiton are mostly university venues, riverside spaces and community halls.
Whatever the venue, we cook on site, so the food is served minutes from the wok, and we can run a separate evening food station once the dancing starts.
The drive from our kitchen is about 51 miles via the A3 and A308, roughly an hour and a half, and travel is always included in your quote rather than added on later. Surbiton is inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, which our vehicles are planned for, and any charge is built into your quote. For guests coming by train: Kingston, Surbiton and New Malden stations.

Questions
Thai Wedding Catering in Surbiton: FAQs
Travel to Surbiton is included in every quote
Kingston, Surbiton and New Malden stations
How many wedding guests can you serve in Surbiton?
We cater weddings from around 30 guests up to 450. For larger numbers we add more cooking stations and staff so the queue keeps moving.
Can you serve an evening food station as well as the wedding breakfast?
Yes. We can do both, or just the evening: a Pad Thai or curry station at 9pm works well once the dancing starts.
Do you cater weddings at venues in Surbiton without a kitchen?
Yes. Barns, marquees and gardens with no kitchen at all are exactly what our set-up is for. We bring our own cooking equipment, gas and serving stations, so we only need a flat area near where guests will eat.
How much does Thai wedding catering cost for a wedding in Surbiton?
Wedding mains start from £20 per guest, with starters from £5.99 and canapés from £2 a piece. Travel from our Chelmsford kitchen to Surbiton (51 miles) is included in your quote, and every quote shows the full price per guest.
What is included in a quote for Surbiton?
The food cooked live at your venue, our team to serve it, bamboo plates and cutlery, setting up and clearing away, and travel to Surbiton. Service runs for two hours as standard, with extra time available.
Do ULEZ or Congestion Charge costs get added for Surbiton?
No surprises: any ULEZ, Congestion Charge or parking costs are included in your quote from the start.

What our clients say
Every one of our 66 Google reviews is five stars. A few of them, in our clients' own words:
“They tailored their menu to us completely, adding a curry dish that is meaningful to us, and making sure the starters were vegan so all our guests could enjoy them… Most of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.”
“All of our guests loved the Thai buffet and we had lots of comments on the high quality. Mihai and his team were discreet and cracked on using the facilities the hall had… brilliant with some of the more complex dietary requirements.”
“Mihai and Nok came to our wedding reception and served fully vegan food as we wanted: pad Thai, massaman curry, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Everyone at the party absolutely loved it!”
